This past month has been a busy one for Alpha Phi! To kick off September, we had homecoming week Sept. 10-15. We were paired with Delta Tau Delta and Sigma Lambda Beta, and we had a blast participating in the events with them from Loper Feud, lawn display, hall display, LipSync, Adventure Race, and the parade. We placed second overall, and developed great relationships with both fraternities throughout the week.
We also had our 55th Alpha Phi Alumni reunion weekend hosted by our alumnae, Chris Hehner and Sue Divan. It was inspiring to meet our sisters from different generations and we were even given a chance to teach them our favorite Alpha Phi songs. Special guests included a few founding members of the Delta Xi chapter, which made it a special event.
This past week, we had our Fraternity and Sorority Life Kick Off. At this event, we won the Highest Overall Sorority GPA, Highest Overall Greek GPA, and the Most Money Raised from Philanthropy. This marks our 31st of 33 semesters having the highest overall Greek GPA with a 3.54. This week also consisted of Big/Little Reveal, which an exciting time for our new members to be welcomed into their "Phi Fams". Alpha Phi has had an exciting first few weeks back at UNK, and our members are looking forward to the rest of the year to come!
